Horizon Wellness Services offers Spravato in Odenton, Maryland. Spravato is a nasal spray form of esketamine, taken with an oral antidepressant by adults who have tried two or more antidepressants without enough relief. It is also used for depression with suicidal thoughts.

Patients take the spray themselves in a private treatment room. Staff check vital signs and mental status before, during, and after the dose, with two hours of monitoring afterward. Someone else must drive the patient home. Treatment starts at twice a week for four weeks, then moves to a maintenance schedule.

The team includes a dually board certified family and psychiatric nurse practitioner, a second psychiatric nurse practitioner, and a therapist. Other care covers psychiatry for ages six and up, counseling, addiction treatment, a psychiatric rehabilitation program, and primary care. It serves Odenton and Anne Arundel County.
