DMV Psychiatric Wellness administers Spravato at its Glenn Dale office within a practice led by psychiatric nurse practitioner Oko Akrong. The broader clinic treats depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and other psychiatric concerns.
Akrong is a military veteran and brings that experience into his work with patients from different backgrounds. Counseling and medication management are both available through the practice, while Spravato requires an in-person treatment visit.
DMV Psychiatric Wellness also has operations in other parts of Maryland and the Washington area. The Glenn Dale clinic serves Bowie, Greenbelt, Lanham, and surrounding Prince George’s County communities.
