Lifespan Psychiatry of Colorado offers Spravato (esketamine) at its Delta office, the only REMS-certified Spravato outpatient treatment center serving Colorado's Western Slope. Spravato is an FDA-approved, insurance-covered medication for treatment-resistant depression and for depressive symptoms in adults with major depressive disorder with acute suicidal ideation.

Spravato is a nasal spray that acts as an antagonist of the NMDA receptor, working through a different mechanism than traditional antidepressants. All treatments are administered in-office under supervision, and patients do not need an outside referral, though an evaluation with a provider is required to determine eligibility.

The office collaborates with insurance carriers and the Janssen CarePath program to secure coverage. Patients are offered a choice of comfortable treatment settings, with WiFi, beverages, blankets, and other amenities available during their monitored sessions.
