Mt. Baker Medical
Mt. Baker Medical provides IV ketamine therapy in Bellingham, Washington, and takes a deliberately hard line on how it should be delivered. IV only, physician present and monitoring vitals throughout every session, not available by phone.
The clinic is direct about the alternative it rejects. It compares its protocol against at home telehealth lozenge programs on route, bioavailability, screening rigor, and what happens in an emergency, and says plainly that the at home model is a categorically different clinical product.
Screening comes first and sometimes ends in no. Patients with active psychosis, uncontrolled hypertension, substance use disorder, or certain cardiac conditions are turned away.
The standard course is six sessions over two to three weeks, with most patients responding by session three or four, then boosters every four to eight weeks. Dr. James Scribner, a board certified emergency physician, oversees treatment.
