Transforming Minds Interventional Psychiatry offers Spravato treatment in Chesapeake, Virginia. Known as TRIP, it is the insurance supported Spravato division of South Chesapeake Psychiatry. Spravato is given in a certified healthcare facility under medical supervision.

Patients self administer the nasal spray with provider guidance, then stay at least two hours for monitoring. The treatment room has recliners and soft lighting. Sessions typically run two to three hours in total, and patients cannot drive until the following day.

Treatment begins twice weekly for four weeks, then tapers to weekly or biweekly based on response. Support staff handle insurance verification and prior authorization.
