Mental Health & Wellness of Southern Utah, formerly St. George Children and Family Psychiatric Center, offers Spravato for adults with treatment-resistant depression who have not responded to at least two oral antidepressants, as well as major depressive disorder with suicidal ideation. The FDA-approved esketamine nasal spray targets NMDA receptors to regulate glutamate, strengthening neural connections impaired in depression with relief often seen within hours to days.

Spravato is administered under the Spravato REMS program in a certified setting, with patients monitored for blood pressure, sedation, and coordination and observed until fully alert. It is used alongside an oral antidepressant, beginning twice weekly then tapering based on response.

The practice also offers ketamine-assisted therapy, TMS, and EMDR for trauma and mood disorders, along with medication management and psychological testing. The team treats depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, sleep disturbances, and mood disorders for children, adolescents, and adults.
