A medical provider or therapist is always in the room for the entire session, which lasts two hours. The standard course runs seven medicine sessions using mostly intramuscular ketamine, with dedicated integration sessions with a therapist in between. The protocol was developed over more than 12 years of work with ketamine in this setting.

A separate lower dose option exists for nervous system regulation, aimed at stress and overwhelm rather than a diagnosis, using two sessions with a trained sitter.
