Texas Neuropsychiatry

Texas Neuropsychiatry is a certified Spravato treatment center in San Benito, Texas, and states it is the only one serving Medicaid patients in South Texas. Care is provided in English and Spanish.

Dr. Daniel Herrera leads the practice, board certified in both psychiatry and neurology, with an MD from the University of Buenos Aires, a PhD from McGill, and dual residencies at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell. He has held academic posts at Cornell, Harvard, and Brigham and Women's Hospital, and his research has been cited more than 8,000 times.

Spravato is given by board certified psychiatric staff in private treatment rooms with full clinical monitoring. Treatment requires a referral and evaluation.

Two psychiatric nurse practitioners round out the team. The practice serves San Benito, Harlingen, and the Rio Grande Valley.
