A physician personally administers and monitors each IV or IM ketamine session. Patients then rest in recovery until they are ready to be discharged. IV and IM protocols usually run two treatments per week for a month, followed by occasional boosters.
Spravato is the only ketamine form most insurance plans cover. IV treatment starts at $420 per session and IM at $315, with payment plans available.
