MWI Health's downtown Sioux Falls office in South Dakota offers Spravato (esketamine) for adults with treatment-resistant depression. This FDA-approved nasal spray increases glutamate and targets the NMDA receptor, working differently than traditional antidepressants and easing symptoms within hours or days for many patients.

Spravato is approved as a standalone treatment as well as alongside an oral antidepressant, and it is also indicated for major depressive disorder with suicidal ideation.
