MWI Health
MWI Health's downtown Sioux Falls office in South Dakota offers Spravato (esketamine) for adults with treatment-resistant depression. This FDA-approved nasal spray increases glutamate and targets the NMDA receptor, working differently than traditional antidepressants and easing symptoms within hours or days for many patients.
Spravato is approved as a standalone treatment as well as alongside an oral antidepressant, and it is also indicated for major depressive disorder with suicidal ideation. Each dose is given under supervision in the clinic, followed by a two-hour monitoring period, with transportation home arranged in advance.
The downtown location offers Spravato within MWI's broader range of mental health care, including psychotherapy and TMS therapy. Treatment typically starts twice weekly before moving to a maintenance schedule based on response.
