Elwyn

Elwyn offers Spravato treatment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for adults whose depression has not improved after two or more antidepressants. Spravato is a nasal spray form of esketamine approved by the FDA and is used alongside an oral antidepressant. It can only be given in a certified office under the federal REMS safety program.

Care starts with a full psychiatric evaluation. During the first four weeks, patients come twice a week, spray each dose themselves under supervision, and stay at least two hours while staff check blood pressure and response. Visits then drop to weekly, and later to every other week for some patients.

A ride home is required after each session. Elwyn serves West Philadelphia and the surrounding city.
