Nulton Diagnostic & Treatment Center offers Spravato treatment in Johnstown, Pennsylvania for adults whose depression has not responded to standard antidepressants. Spravato is a nasal spray form of esketamine approved by the FDA and is used alongside an oral antidepressant. The center is certified under REMS, the federal safety program that governs how the medicine is given.
Patients spray each dose themselves while a provider supervises, then stay at least two hours while staff check vital signs. A ride home is required, since driving is off limits until the next day after a full night of sleep.
Staff run a benefits check before treatment starts so costs are clear. The office also offers counseling, medication management, and case management, and serves Johnstown and Cambria County.
