The esketamine nasal spray is used in combination with an oral antidepressant for patients who have tried two or more antidepressants without success, delivered through the Spravato REMS program.
Because of the risk of sedation and dissociation, patients are monitored under professional supervision for at least two hours after each dose and arrange transportation since driving is not advised afterward. Spravato is also FDA approved for treatment-resistant MDD with co-occurring suicidal ideation.
The practice provides a range of mental health and wellness services including psychiatry, outpatient counseling, GeneSight testing, Alpha-Stim therapy, coaching, Reiki, and yoga. Patients are closely monitored and cared for by qualified staff throughout treatment.
