Treatment begins with a 60-minute initial assessment with a psychiatric provider to determine whether Spravato is a good fit, including a full medical and psychiatric history review. Spravato is then self-administered in a private, calm setting under direct supervision, with patients relaxing during a two-hour observation period while clinical staff monitor vitals and comfort.
