Restore Compassionate Care offers Spravato at its Austintown, Ohio location for adults with treatment-resistant depression and major depressive disorder with suicidal thoughts. This FDA-approved esketamine nasal spray works on the brain's NMDA receptors and often produces faster results than traditional antidepressants when combined with oral medication.
As required by the REMS program, Spravato is administered in person in a quiet, monitored room. Patients self-administer the nasal spray under supervision, with sessions lasting about two hours including observation. Treatment usually runs twice weekly for the first four weeks, then tapers over the following weeks.
The practice blends brain science with compassionate, evidence-based care and helps patients understand their benefits and coordinate coverage. A ride home is required after each session.
