Harmony Psychiatric Services offers Spravato (esketamine) treatment in Athens for adults whose depression has not eased after two or more antidepressants. Patients give themselves the nasal spray in the office under medical supervision.

Spravato works on the brain's glutamate system rather than serotonin or dopamine, which is why relief often comes faster than with standard antidepressants. Everyone stays at least two hours afterward for monitoring, and a responsible adult must drive them home.

Dosing runs twice a week for four weeks, then weekly for four more, then every one to two weeks. The practice also offers TMS, brief supportive therapy, medication management, and genetic testing to guide medication choices. In person and telehealth visits are available across Ohio.
