UNM Psychiatric Center

UNM Psychiatric Center offers esketamine (Spravato) treatment in Albuquerque for adults whose depression has not responded to two or more antidepressants. Patients use the nasal spray in clinic and are monitored by staff for two hours.

Treatment starts with a psychiatric evaluation to confirm eligibility. New patients can start through the walk in clinic, which is open weekdays. Care is limited to adults 18 and over.

The center is part of the state public hospital system and also runs TMS, medication management, inpatient psychiatry, addiction treatment, and psychiatric emergency services. Medicare and Medicaid are accepted. Care serves Albuquerque and communities across New Mexico.
