CareWell Health offers Spravato (esketamine) treatment in East Orange for adults with hard to treat depression. The program is certified under the Spravato REMS safety program, and no referral is needed.
Patients spray the medication themselves in a private room while a clinician monitors them. Each visit takes about two hours, and a ride home is required because driving is not allowed for the rest of the day.
Sessions run twice a week for the first four weeks, then weekly, then every one to two weeks. The outpatient behavioral health program also provides counseling, psychiatric care, and medication management for adults 18 and older in East Orange and nearby Essex County.
