Refuge Mental Health in Omaha, Nebraska is a REMS-certified Spravato (esketamine) provider for adults with major depressive disorder who have tried two or more antidepressant medications without success. This FDA-approved nasal spray, derived from ketamine, works on a different part of the brain than traditional oral antidepressants and may provide fast-acting relief, used in combination with an oral antidepressant.

Spravato is administered in-office under clinical supervision, with patients self-administering the nasal spray and being monitored in a calm, private space for about two hours per session. Treatment is typically twice weekly for the first four weeks, then weekly or every other week based on response.

Led by Janelle Hill, APRN, PMHNP-BC, the practice also provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and trauma-informed care, and assists patients with verifying insurance benefits.
