Nebraska Pain Institute

Nebraska Pain Institute in Lincoln provides IV ketamine infusion therapy for chronic pain and selected psychiatric conditions. Its published ketamine program includes treatment for complex regional pain syndrome, spinal cord injury, phantom limb pain, fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain, depression, and PTSD. Infusions are administered intravenously in the clinic.

A ketamine infusion lasts about four hours. Nursing staff monitor patients during treatment, and the clinic asks patients to bring someone who can remain with them during the procedure.
