Golden Mean Health offers Spravato (esketamine) treatment in Wilmington for people whose depression has not eased with antidepressants alone. A nurse practitioner gives the nasal spray in a medically supervised setting.
Sessions last about two hours. Patients rest in a reclined position in a comfortable, semi private room while staff monitor them. Driving is not allowed afterward, so a ride home needs to be arranged ahead of time.
