Avance Psychiatry at Centers of Excellence in Raleigh provides IV ketamine infusions and Spravato for difficult psychiatric conditions. Its ketamine program treats major depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar depression, chronic pain, and other treatment-resistant conditions. Spravato is another in-office option for adults with treatment-resistant depression.
The Raleigh clinic is led by psychiatrist Ashwin Patkar and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Psychiatric medication management is also available through the practice.
Patients can receive advanced treatment and ongoing psychiatric follow-up at the same Brier Creek office. Avance serves Raleigh, Durham, Cary, and surrounding Triangle communities.

Spravato is covered by most major insurance plans. For Medical Pain Service: accepts most major insurance plans and self-pay patients. Child and Adolescent Services accepts most commercial insurance including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and Humana; does not accept Medicaid or Medicare.
Spravato: out-of-pocket cost ranges from $0 to $225 per treatment; covered by most major insurance plans; patient support programs available for high copays.
