Carolina Psychological Health Services

Carolina Psychological Health Services is a REMS certified Spravato site in Jacksonville, treating adults whose depression has not responded to standard antidepressants. It also treats depression with acute suicidal thoughts.

Patients give themselves the nasal spray under supervision, then stay for at least two hours of observation. Plan on two to three hours per visit and arrange a ride home, since driving is off limits until the next day.

Staff handle insurance verification and prior authorization before treatment starts, and they coordinate with outside psychiatrists and therapists. The practice has served eastern North Carolina since 1988 and also offers TMS, therapy, and medication management for clients of all ages.
