WBS Mental Wellness

WBS Mental Wellness offers Spravato (esketamine) treatment in Charlotte for adults whose depression has not improved after two or more antidepressants. It is also approved for depression with active suicidal thoughts.

The nasal spray is given at a REMS certified center, meaning a site cleared to administer it in person. Patients are watched for at least two hours, with blood pressure and breathing checked. A ride home is required, and driving is off limits until the next day.

Treatment runs twice a week for the first month, then weekly for a month, then weekly or every other week. Staff verify insurance coverage before treatment begins. The practice also offers diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and genetic testing to guide medication choices.
