Atrium Health Behavioral Health Interventional and Neurocognitive Psychiatry in Charlotte offers Spravato for adults with difficult-to-treat depression. The program uses interventional psychiatric treatments when medication and counseling have not produced enough improvement. Spravato is used for treatment-resistant depression and certain cases of major depressive disorder.
The Billingsley Road clinic also provides TMS and specialty neurocognitive psychiatric care. Its team includes psychiatrists and psychologists with experience in advanced depression treatment and brain-based therapies.
Patients can be referred into the program for evaluation before treatment begins. The Charlotte clinic serves Mecklenburg County and patients referred from elsewhere in the Atrium Health system.
