Aether Interventional Psychiatry

Aether Interventional Psychiatry provides Spravato (esketamine) treatment in Asheville for adults with moderate to severe depression that has not eased on antidepressants. Patients give themselves the nasal spray under supervision, then stay at least two hours for monitoring.

What sets this clinic apart is the therapy built into treatment. A weekly group led by a trauma therapist runs during the second hour of monitoring, giving patients a chance to talk through what came up. Every patient is required to have an individual therapist as well.

Sessions start at twice a week for the first month, then weekly, then weekly or every other week. The clinic does not handle general psychiatric medication, so patients keep their own psychiatrist. Care serves Asheville and the surrounding western North Carolina area.
