Ozark Center PRISM

Ozark Center PRISM is a specialty clinic in Joplin for major or treatment resistant depression. It offers Spravato, the nasal spray approved for adults whose depression has not responded to other medications. Ozark Center was the first facility in Missouri to offer it.

The clinic also provides TMS and electroconvulsive therapy. Most patients see at least a 50 percent drop in depression symptoms, and about a third reach remission.

PRISM stands for Psychiatric Renewal Through Innovative Solutions and Methods, and it is the first facility of its kind in the state. It is part of Ozark Center, the behavioral health arm of Freeman Health System, serving southwest Missouri.
