Lakes Depression Center
Lakes Depression Center in West Bloomfield was the first standalone Spravato treatment center in the country. The team has completed over 70,000 treatments, and the Spravato suite holds 14 private rooms used only for this purpose.
Spravato is added to an existing antidepressant and can bring a fast response. The usual course runs twice a week for four weeks, then weekly, with maintenance two to four times a month for as long as it helps.
The nasal spray is always given in the office, followed by two hours of monitoring. Patients need a ride home and cannot drive for the rest of the day. The center is part of Lakes Center Mental Health Network and serves metro Detroit.

Accepts insurance
In network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Medicare and Advantage plans, Medicare Plus Blue, Cigna, Aetna, and Priority Health, among others. Medicaid plans are not accepted. Most insurance plans cover Spravato and no referral is needed.
