The Center for Functional-Psychedelic Medicine

The Center for Functional-Psychedelic Medicine provides IV ketamine and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy at its New Orleans location inside the SPYRE Center. The practice has dedicated ketamine rooms as well as separate space for consultations, therapy, and IV infusions.

Dr. Maysa Alavi founded the center, which also offers preparation and integration sessions around ketamine treatment. Some care is built around the medicine session itself, while other visits focus on processing the experience and planning what comes next.

The setup supports both medical infusions and therapy-centered ketamine work in one practice. Patients visit from New Orleans and surrounding southeast Louisiana communities.
