START Community Health Center

START Community Health Center gives Houma patients access to Spravato within a larger community health program. Psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and counseling are available through the same organization, which also provides primary care and other health services.

The broad care model can be useful for patients who want mental health treatment connected to an established medical clinic. START also offers dental care, substance use services, HIV care, and help with other health needs, though Spravato remains an in-person behavioral health treatment. The Houma center serves Terrebonne Parish, including Houma, Gray, Schriever, Bourg, and nearby bayou communities.
