Mainstream Mental Health offers Spravato in Atchison, Kansas. Spravato is a nasal spray form of esketamine, approved for adults whose depression has not responded to at least two antidepressants and for adults with major depression who have suicidal thoughts.
The practice is led by a psychiatric nurse practitioner and treats patients age 6 and up. Care starts with a full psychiatric evaluation, then moves into ongoing medication management for depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, autism, and substance use.
Other services include motivational interviewing, a counseling method often used for problem drinking and mild addictions, plus medication assisted treatment for substance use and weight loss support. Visits are available in the office or by video. The practice serves Atchison and nearby northeast Kansas.
