Meridian Advanced Psychiatry
Meridian Advanced Psychiatry in Eagle uses compounded ketamine troches as a treatment option for treatment-resistant depression. The medication is absorbed through the mouth rather than given by injection or infusion. Initial treatments take place in the clinic so staff can assess safety, response, and dosing.
In-office ketamine visits require at least two hours of monitoring, and patients need a driver because they cannot drive again until the following day. Some patients may later qualify for treatment at home after their provider evaluates their response. The Eagle clinic serves patients from Eagle and other communities throughout the Treasure Valley.
