Kua Mana'o Kokua offers Spravato treatment in Hilo for people with depression that has not improved on other medication. Spravato is a nasal spray taken at the office under supervision.
The practice is run by April Kua, a nurse practitioner certified in both family practice and psychiatric mental health, with more than 14 years in psychiatric and addiction care. She also holds advanced certification in addictions nursing.
Care covers addiction and detox support, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD, anxiety, insomnia, pain management, weight management, and medical marijuana certification. Teens, adults, and elders are seen in person in Hilo, with video visits available across Hawaii.
