Breakthru Psychiatric Solutions offers IV ketamine and Spravato in Sandy Springs for people with depression, anxiety, or PTSD that has not responded to other treatment. Infusions run 40 to 60 minutes at a low dose, with staff present the whole time.
Spravato is a nasal spray given under a psychiatrist's supervision, twice weekly for four weeks, then weekly for four weeks, followed by a taper.
The practice was co-founded by Dr. Karen Giles, an interventional psychiatrist certified in ketamine, esketamine, and transcranial magnetic stimulation. Treatment works alongside your own psychiatrist or primary doctor rather than replacing routine medication care. Patients are seen across Sandy Springs and north metro Atlanta.
