The Traveling Therapist offers esketamine therapy in Fort Myers for people whose depression has not improved on standard medication. Treatment starts with a consultation to work out whether it is a good fit.
The clinic was founded in 2018 by Yalily Smith, who began by driving to clients' homes before opening offices. Psychiatric nurse practitioners handle evaluations and medication for patients age 13 and up.
Other services include individual, couples, and family counseling, play therapy for children, EMDR for trauma, ADHD testing, and genetic testing that guides medication choices. Care is offered in English and Spanish across Lee, Charlotte, and Collier counties.

Accepts insurance
Most major insurance plans are accepted, along with flexible cash plans. No referral is needed. Free therapy support is available to people who are uninsured or underinsured and qualify.
