Luminous Healing Center
Luminous Healing Center provides ketamine assisted psychotherapy in Santa Cruz, California, using intramuscular injection rather than IV, with a licensed medical provider monitoring and a therapist guiding throughout.
Sessions run three to four hours and begin with relaxation, breathing, meditation, and intention setting. Dosing is deliberately conservative for first timers, and the site explains why: a dose set too high is much harder to recover from than one set too low.
The program is interdisciplinary, drawing on Internal Family Systems, somatic and nature based therapy, music, and ceremony.
It is offered one to one and as a monthly outpatient group. No formal diagnosis is required. Founder Dr.
Liz Esalen was in the first MAPS cohort trained in MDMA assisted therapy. Ketamine journeys happen in person at Santa Cruz; retreats also run in Kauai.
