Spravato is FDA approved for treatment resistant depression and for major depressive disorder with suicidal thoughts, and it is covered by most insurance plans. Sessions run about two hours under provider supervision.
Ketamine treatment here always includes ketamine assisted psychotherapy. The clinic does not offer ketamine without that commitment, since integration work is what turns a session into lasting change. Patients are encouraged to bring their own psychotherapist to treatment sessions.
Ketamine is used for depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction, though patients with addiction must be sober and committed to long term sobriety. A ride home is required after each session. The practice also provides psychiatric care and medication management, and serves San Luis Obispo and the Central Coast.
