The Aleph Center in Tucson, Arizona offers both Spravato (esketamine) and ketamine treatment for depression when recommended by a provider. Spravato is the FDA-approved esketamine nasal spray for treatment-resistant depression, partially covered by insurance for patients who have not responded to at least two courses of antidepressants.
The practice also offers compounded ketamine through a local pharmacy, available as sublingual lozenges or troches and as an intramuscular injection. Unlike Spravato, this form is not FDA-approved for psychiatric use and is typically not covered by insurance.
