GenHealth in Goodyear, Arizona has offered Spravato (esketamine) therapy since 2019, the year of its release. Spravato is a prescription nasal spray for adults with major depressive disorder who have not responded adequately to previous antidepressant treatments, used alongside an oral antidepressant that continues throughout care.

The nasal spray is self-administered under the supervision of a GenHealth provider, with patients monitored at the facility for at least two hours after each dose. Esketamine targets the brain's glutamate system and is believed to help restore synaptic connections affected by depression, often providing relief faster than traditional oral antidepressants.

Treatment usually begins with twice-weekly dosing for four weeks, then transitions to a weekly or every-other-week maintenance phase based on response. Alongside Spravato, GenHealth offers TMS, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, and psychology services.
