Magnetic Hope provides Spravato treatment in Vestavia Hills for adults whose depression has not responded to standard antidepressants. The practice was founded by Dr. Renee Richesin, a psychiatrist who trained at UAB and served as chief resident in its psychiatry department.

Spravato is a nasal spray form of esketamine, taken in the office under medical supervision with an observation period afterward. The clinic also offers transcranial magnetic stimulation, a drug free option that uses magnetic pulses and requires no anesthesia.
